Product Review

Not long ago I sold my Canon PowerShot G10 and went looking for a digital camera with better low-light capability. My plan was to buy either the Panasonic LX3, the Canon G11 or S90, but as I went shopping I learned of the impending arrival of the Panasonic LX5, Canon G12 and.

While I've come to think of myself as a mom who "needs" a point-and-shoot, in fact I know - or once knew - how to play the aperture and ISO game well enough to coax a great picture out of a less-than-ideal situation. The Canon Powershot S95 lets me be both just-get-the-shot mom and..

Nikon D80 Body Only Digital Camera

Nikon D80 Body Only Digital Camera

Nikon D80 slots nicely between the entry-level D50 and the semi-professional/professional D200, clearly based on the D70 design but also different enough to be seen as a completely other model. It features a ten megapixel DX format CCD (the same we presume as used by Sony in the DSLR-A100), the metering sensor from the D50 and numerous other items taken or modified from the D200.

To anyone interested in photography, especially DIGITAL imaging, it is quite obvious that the Megapixel War continues and that the two baddest guys on the block, Nikon and Canon continue to do battle. That battle, for the hearts and minds of photographers around the world is not just

I have been a Nikon camera user for a very long time, starting with a Nikon FE (a manual 35 mm body) my father gave me in 1984. The Nikon FE, combined with a Nikon 50 mm f/1.4 lens, served me well until the middle of 2004, when I acquired a Nikon D70 with 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5 kit lens.

I've had this camera for about a 1 1/2 years and have probably taken thousands of pictures. I shoot a lot of nature and wildlife; so, I've taken it into some brutal situations and never had any problem with the camera body. I have taken it on small boats on the ocean with a lot of spray and I've

Product Review

I just bought this camera for my hobby and I'm amazed by this. The quality is amazing and you have many features to make your photos even better. (Changing color, light settings, color balance, even a fun fish eye effect!) The screen is big enough to see details of your camera and the buttons are.

This is truly a best buy, at under $700(includes starter lens in most U.S. Stores) this camera has the features of a much more expensive DSLR. The 3100 features 1080p video recording and 14 megapixel photos. The auto focus can be a bit slow in video mode but besides that, everything is great.

This was my first DSLR camera, it has amazing quality, shutter speed and awesome features when it comes to shooting in low light or you just want to take some pictures to post on facebook which reminds me, the camera provides easy uploading to PC or mac. The Nikkor lens included has manual.

Why I decided to purchase a Nikon D3000 I had a 35mm slr camera that I used to use about 30yrs ago. I had wanted a digital one but they were always so expensive. Recently the prices came down so I decided to take the plunge. I started looking at them about a year ago and gradually settled into.

I just recently purchased the Nikon D3000 Digital Camera two months ago online for $400.00. I have always bought the one and done cameras but I really never liked the picture quality. My dad is an advanced photographer and he has always trusted anything that Nikon.

This is a great starter camera. This is my first DSLR and I couldn't be happier. I bought this camera because I wanted to take beautiful professional style photos with basically no experience. The camera's features are easy to navigate and informative. You could easily take classes with this camera.
